Samba Church

The Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, known as Samba, is one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world. Standing 98 meters tall on Elia Hill in central Tbilisi, it is visible from every part of the city. Construction began in 1995 and was completed in 2004. Its architecture combines traditional Georgian styles, and the interior is decorated with frescoes and religious icons. Visiting the cathedral is free for tourists and is one of the most important attractions of Tbilisi city tours.
